The hospital in Jui, with several departments, had no ENT care until now (2022).

Dr. Kabbineh, our partner, is one of only (!) two ENT specialists in the entire country. To date, he has been responsible for the administration of this hospital.

Dr. Ladipoh, Bintumani D-SL, has sent a large part of his medical practice from Berlin to Sierra Leone in 2022.

In Jui, near Freetown, Dr. Kabbineh has taken over the items and equipped a practice room with them.

Two young doctors are now interested in being trained in ENT.
Dr. Ladipoh carried this out in his presence in Sierra Leone in February and November 2022. The first steps have been taken!

A nurse would also like to learn how to carry out hearing tests and fit hearing aids. This is where our relationships will be useful for an “education” after Makeni.

A connection to an ENT department in Berlin – including telemedicine – is being sought.
